Many modern platforms rely on the OE rear caliper to actuate the electronic parking brake. When the rear brake system is converted to a separate multi-piston performance caliper with no EPB motor, parking-brake function can be lost. The Application Review Process
Because these EPB calipers are used in custom rear brake conversions, fitment cannot be assumed from vehicle model alone. Correct integration depends on the rear knuckle, rotor diameter, rotor thickness, hat offset, primary performance caliper, wheel clearance, EPB motor connector, and vehicle control logic.
1. Rear-Corner Layout Review
We review the vehicle, rear knuckle or upright, target rotor diameter, rotor thickness, hat offset, primary performance caliper, and wheel clearance envelope.
2. EPB Compatibility Check
Connector pinout, EPB motor logic, OE module behavior, auto-hold function, and parking-brake actuation requirements must be checked before installation.
3. Fabrication Approval
The installer confirms bracket design, caliper clocking, clearance around the primary brake caliper, wiring path, and service access before the calipers are integrated into the build.

Installation Realities
This is a fabrication-oriented component, not a universal bolt-on package. Correct integration depends on the complete rear corner layout and the performance caliper it shares the rotor package with.
- Verify rotor diameter, thickness, and hat offset before ordering.
- Confirm EPB caliper clocking around the rotor with the primary performance caliper installed.
- Measure rear knuckle or upright mounting envelope before bracket design.
- Check wheel barrel and spoke clearance through the full suspension range.
- Confirm EPB motor connector pinout and electrical compatibility with the vehicle.
- Confirm that the included EPB brake pads match the final rotor package and rear-corner layout.
- Use an experienced brake fabricator or qualified installer for bracketry, wiring, clocking, and integration.

Fun, Durable Ball, But Straps Could Be Tougher

I bought the QDAN Glow in the Dark Dog Toys Soccer Ball for my German Shepherd, who absolutely loves it. The glow-in-the-dark feature is great for evening play, adding an extra layer of fun to our outdoor interactions. The ball itself has proven to be remarkably durable, standing up well to the rough play that comes with a large, active dog.
However, the straps did not fare as well. My GSD managed to bite through most of them relatively quickly. While this hasn’t stopped us from enjoying the ball, it does mean that some of the interactive potential of the toy is lost. The ball continues to be a hit on its own, thanks to its resilience and the glow feature that keeps my dog engaged.
If the straps were as durable as the ball itself, this would be a perfect outdoor toy for energetic dogs. As it stands, it’s still a good purchase for anyone looking for a sturdy, engaging toy for their pet, especially if nighttime play is a routine.

Perfect toy for an active dog!

My dog absolutely loves this ball with handles! It’s quickly become one of his favorite toys, and he gets excited every time we bring it out to play.
The vibrant colors are a huge plus—they make it super easy to spot in the grass, which saves a lot of time during outdoor play sessions. The handles are great for interactive play too, especially for tugging and tossing.
I’m really impressed with how well it’s holding up. Even with constant pulling, tugging, and rough use, it’s remained durable and hasn’t shown any signs of wearing out.
Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase—and if my dog could write reviews, it would definitely get his paw stamp of approval! 🐾

Great idea poor construction

Great for a dog that likes tug and fetch but the seams are not strong so it ripped fast not from tug but my dogs teeth. I sewed it once since we loved playing with it but it didnt last. Other seams opened. The seams opened in the ball part not by the handles. Less seams and stronger ones would make it 5 star. Im trying a different brand.
