We are open to personalisation and customisation requests including the highlighting of specific buildings or features, any colour scheme of your choice and the addition of text and images. The Cape Peninsula is a dramatic landscape of rugged mountains, cliffs, and coastlines bordered by the Atlantic and False Bay. Its most prominent feature is Table Mountain, a flat-topped landmark overlooking the city, while the peninsula itself forms part of the Table Mountain National Park, home to unique fynbos vegetation and diverse wildlife, including baboons and African penguins at Boulders Beach. Historically, the Cape Peninsula was inhabited by the Khoisan people before becoming a vital stop for European sailors after Bartolomeu Dias rounded the Cape in 1488 and the Dutch established a refreshment station in 1652. Today, it is renowned for its natural beauty, biodiversity, and cultural heritage, making it a key tourist destination in South Africa.
