Sebco Description
Sebco has three ingredients that help treat scalp psoriasis.
It gets rid of scales, reduces swelling, and helps soften rough areas.
You use it once a day until your symptoms get better, then switch to using it every few days.

What is Sebco?

Sebco is an ointment used to treat dry scalp conditions such as eczema, seborrhoeic dermatitis, and psoriasis. It has three active ingredients: coal tar, salicylic acid, and sulphur, which work together to help remove dry skin and reduce inflammation.

Scalp psoriasis is an inflammatory condition that affects about 45-56% of people who have psoriasis. Common symptoms include dry, itchy patches and flaking skin, which can resemble dandruff. Although there isn't a cure for psoriasis, treatments can help ease the symptoms. Scalp psoriasis is managed differently from regular psoriasis, often using shampoos and products specifically designed for the scalp.

How does Sebco work?

Sebco has three active ingredients that work together to relieve the symptoms of psoriasis:

Coal tar has anti-inflammatory and anti-itch properties that help reduce swelling and stop your symptoms from getting worse. It also has antibacterial qualities that help prevent infections.
Salicylic acid works by breaking down scales and softening plaques. This action allows other medicines to penetrate better, making them more effective.
Sulphur has antifungal and antibacterial qualities that help prevent and combat infections. It also acts as a keratolytic, which means it can soften your scalp and help remove scales.

Sebco also contains liquid paraffin and coconut oil. These ingredients help to nourish and moisturise your skin, softening the plaques and easing irritation.

What should I do if I make a mistake when taking Sebco?

If you forget to apply a dose, do so as soon as you remember, unless it's already been a day. Don't apply a double dose to catch up.

If you use too much by mistake, wash it off and get in touch with your doctor. Overuse can lead to irritation.

How long does Sebco take to work?

You should notice some improvement in your symptoms within a few days. If there's no change after a week or if symptoms persist beyond four weeks, get in touch with your clinician for guidance.

Is Sebco available without a prescription?

In brief: yes, you can. Sebco doesn't require a prescription, but you can't just pick it up off the shelf either. You'll need to have a chat with a healthcare professional, like a pharmacist, to ensure it's safe and appropriate for you.

Can I use Sebco whilst I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

Yes, you can use it. However, it's important to consult your doctor first to ensure it's appropriate for you. If you're breastfeeding, avoid applying it to your breasts, and remember to wash your hands after using the ointment to prevent it from coming into contact with your baby.

How is Sebco different from other treatments for scalp psoriasis?

Sebco is ideal for mild psoriasis and helps prevent flare-ups after treatment. Capasal is a similar product, a shampoo for dry scalp conditions, with the same active ingredients except for sulphur. Both work similarly, but Sebco is an ointment, while Capasal is a shampoo. The choice between them is entirely yours.

For severe psoriasis, it's advised to use products with corticosteroids or calcipotriol. Calcipotriol shampoo can help by reducing your immune response, which prevents inflammation. It also stops the excess production of skin cells that lead to rough plaques.

Steroids function in a similar way. They help to lessen swelling, itching, and redness. The strength of steroids you can use depends on the severity of your condition. For scalp psoriasis, examples include Bettamousse and Etrivex.

Important Information

Sebco isn't suitable for everyone, and there are a few things you should keep in mind when using it.

Here's all the official information on it. If anything isn't clear, please let our clinician know, and they can discuss it with you.

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Fun with a late blooming omega
Format: Kindle
I like this book. The story is fun, cute, and sexy. There's just a little drama, some excellent, steamy scenes, and a fairly good relationship building storyline. I especially like how all the main characters are a bit older than the usual 20 somethings I tend to see in this kind of book. Having said that, I wish there were more descriptions of the places, as well as the food in the fancy restaurant. I enjoyed the cocktails at the club, so I missed that kind of detail when Gray took Madison on a dinner date. I also wish there had been more interaction between Lucas and Madison, and Lucas and Rian. It felt a bit lopsided, with a focus on Rian, Madison, and Gray. I wish it had been proofread - there are a lot of typos, but nothing too distracting.

Madison Deserved Better
Format: Kindle
Madison was a beta...except she wasn't any longer. She was a late presenting Omega. And she was struggling. She was tall and thin, not tiny and curvy. She was opinionated. She was everything an Omega was not. After suffering through her first heat, her friends took her to Ardor, a club where Omegas came to safely find Alphas. She's not expecting much but then she connects with a sexy beta. And when she meets his Alphas, they set her body on fire. Maybe, she's found her no-strings-attached heat pack. Maybe, she's found something more. I could not connect with the characters in this book, so their story never resonated with me. And there was no love story; there was sex. Grey made it clear from the beginning that he had a true love and it was his beta boy, Rian. He went so far as to reassure Rian “Say the word, I’ll never touch her again. Lucas can put the babies in her. I only need you, beta boy”. So, Madison was there for babies, no emotions needed. Nice. No, thank you. I want the Omega to be the center of their world, not an incubator. Lucas and Rian weren't any better. After her heat, they let her leave. Not one of them made her feel valued. No one gave her a reason to stay or even offered a cuddle. And the sex didn't even come across as mind-blowing. Madison deserved better.
