Welcoming yet another acoustic guitar to our beautiful lineup is this stunning Martin Custom Shop Mahogany D-14F. This Sitka Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides dreadnought is packed with premium appointments and solid, state of the art craftsmanship. The Sitka Spruce top features VTS (vintage tone system), this process allows the wood to be perfectly aged to vintage spec, both visually and sonically. The Mahogany back and sides look absolutely breathtaking and provide a beautifully deep, rich, and warm tone. The body is complete with a Black Ebony bridge, binding, scalloped Sitka Spruce bracing, and old style 18 rosette.
This 14-fret dreadnought features a 25.4” scale length Modified Low Oval neck with Black Ebony fingerboard. And since you were wondering, yes, it plays like a dream. The Black Ebony fretboard is accented with Old Style 18 with Select Abalone inlays. The neck and headstock meet at a bone nut for smooth, stable experience. This D-14F's headstock features Grand Tuners for a reliable, easy tuning experience. A classic Old Style Silver headstock decal sits at the top to tie the entire look together.
