This lovely bracelet is made of silver. It was worn by the Rashaida tribe which is an Arab tribe originating from Saudi Arabia/Yemen which now inhabits also Eritrea in addition to Nubia. The bracelet is handmade with a lot of details: protruding domed studs and roping in the shape of a flower underneath, and applique diamonds. The bracelet was made in Egypt as evidenced by a three-part silver hallmark that is too worn to determine its age, but it is most likely from the 1930s or 40s. The bracelet is in good vintage condition for its age.
The inner circumference is 19 cm or 7 3/8 inches. The width is 4 cm or 1 1/2 inches. Weight is 73.55 grams.
