Discover the transformative work, *Resisting Borders and Technologies of Violence*, a groundbreaking trade paperback published by Haymarket Books in 2024. This insightful book unravels the oppressive realities faced by migrants within the harsh frameworks of imperialist border regimes. With an ISBN of 9781642599114, this volume stands as a critical investigation into the technologies of surveillance, control, and violence employed by nation-states to enforce borders. Explore how digital borders are constructed through advanced surveillance techniques including facial recognition software, electronic tracking systems, and vast immigrant databases, which serve to categorize human existence into categories of desirability and value. This essential read features a collection of essays and case studies that shine a light on the insidious adaptations of colonial practices in the modern world, exemplifying a sophisticated neocolonial environment that adversely affects the Global South and migrant routes. By providing compelling analyses and inspiring stories of resistance, *Resisting Borders and Technologies of Violence* encourages readers to engage with innovative strategies for challenging the high-tech mechanisms of border imperialism. The contributors, a diverse array of journalists, scholars, and activists, unite to envision a future devoid of oppressive borders, where solidarity transcends geographical and social divides. Join the movement and be part of the conversation that seeks to dismantle the technologies of violence and open pathways to global solidarity. Ideal for activists, scholars, and anyone passionate about social justice, this book is a crucial resource for understanding and resisting the forces that seek to divide us.

Hubby’s Fave!
Color: Wistful Mauve Melange, Size: XX-Large, Color: Wistful Mauve Melange, Size: XX-Large
My husband lives in these comfortable performance quarter zips by Maelreg! He says they’re warm in the cool months, they fit great, can be worn with just about any slacks, joggers, or shorts. They come in many different colors and they fit the tall guys like my husband, whose 6’4” He orders 2XL.

It's different. Not bad, but nothing special.
Color: Navy Melange, Size: XX-Large
The fit is good. I'd say medium weight. It's not quite as light as some of the microfiber pullovers I like to wear playing golf, and not quite as flexible. I'm not sure I like the decorative stitching. The stitching on the shoulders and along the sides makes it look like it's on inside out. Also, the material has kind of a paper feeling to it (for want of a better description). Overall it's decent looking, not a bad fit, not a bad feel, it just doesn't 'wow' me. Unless the price is better than it is now, and already having one, I doubt I'd buy it again. Most of this is just my own opinion based on personal preference. The overall manufacturing quality seems very good. Someone else might think this is the nicest pullover they own.

Excellent quality and value
This is my 4th Maelreg 1/4 zip shirt. I've lost a lot of weight and looking for clothing that fits well and doesn't feel like a shirt from China. I found that the quality and fit are excellent. The fabric is soft, well made and slightly heavier than other 1/4 zips I've purchased on Amazon. The weight of fabric gives a quality feel. The styles of Maelreg pullovers are great. I get a lot of compliments on these shirts.

MAELREG Clothing Looks Great!
Love this quarter zip. MAELREG makes some comfortable, sharp looking clothing. Their golf apparel is fantastic. The value is worth it. Their shirts are true to size. I am 6', 215lbs and wear an XL, which fits nicely.
