A quick-read LED shows charge state and battery level at a glance. Intelligent float charge capability is also included, keeping batteries topped off over time. The charger also includes a number of safety features, automatically shutting down if an error occurs

Float Charging is your silent battery guardian. Once your golf cart battery reaches full charge, instead of simply shutting off, a Reliance charger with float mode transitions to a low-voltage maintenance current. This keeps the batteries "topped off" without overcharging or overheating, protecting them from the natural self-discharge that occurs over time – extending battery life. Excellent. A bit heavier than my echo gas weed trimmer for reference. Fair balance but it is a bit of a workout. The good thing is I can edge a 10k sq ft corner lot in about 1/3 the time. On the corner, I have both sides of the sidewalk plus the curb side to do. I've owned gas edgers before also. This comes in comparable to the price I paid for one of those 20 years ago so I would also say a good if not very good value for the buck. It was not an initial edging but 1st maintenance for the year and rather overgrown. Didn't even use one full charge on the edger.
