Also called Confederate Rose, Cotton Rose, Cotton Rose Mallow.  The genus name Hibiscus is Latin for mallow, and the species name mutabilis is Latin for change, as the blossoms of this large shrub to multi-stemmed tree start out white and as they age, then turn light pink, to dark pink. It is a very fast grower reaching 10 to 12 feet high and 8 to 10 feet across in zones 9-10, and around 6-8 feet tall in zones 7-8. With its color changing 4 to 5-inch double flowers atop the lush deep green foliage, this makes an excellent specimen in the yard, also it's attractiveness to bees and butterflies make it a great addition to the butterfly garden. Plant this deciduous shrub in full sun to part shade, in well-drained, rich soil. Bloom time is summer through fall. Hardy in zones 7-10.  Can be grown in a container for a sunny patio or balcony and brought inside to a sunny window.

However there were just one too many convoluted plot points, sentences just did not flow nicely at times, and I was left with a lot of confusion on my end. I think it has the bones of being a great story but seems like it was rushed and I had to push myself to finish the last of the book and was left with an unsatisfying ending. It’s definitely different from other omegaverse novels I’ve read but not for good reasons. I really think it could be great but needs some serious tweaking and editing before I’d read it again.

I cried my eyes out when he walked into the story. I was truly terrified he was going to be a bad guy to the end. However you truly did him such a justice by having him realize his faults & having him redeem himself in the most wonderful way. I’m so sad that he didn’t get to hear how much his brother loved him & forgave him before dying. But again you wrote that ending so beautifully & I just can’t express how much I loved this story & how you took a different route than most authors I have read have. You are a remarkable author Cinder Blaze & I thank you generously for creating such a masterpiece.
