Why we love Yirgacheffe coffees:
Yirgacheffe is widely regarded as one of the most iconic coffee regions in the world. Its high altitudes, fertile soils, and unique microclimates produce coffees known for their floral aromatics, citrus brightness, and refined tea like body. Coffees from Chelchele are especially prized for balancing vibrant acidity with deep sweetness and complexity.
This Grade 1 washed lot is produced by 368 smallholder farmers cultivating traditional Ethiopian heirloom varieties under the shade of native trees including Enset, Albizia, and Acacia.
