The London five-piece headed into the studio in late 2024 with Grammy Award winning producer Markus Dravs (Wolf Alice, Florence & The Machine, Bjork) to start work on the follow-up to their UK #1 debut album, 2024’s Prelude to Ecstasy. From The Pyre is the sound of a band having a lot of fun rather than feeling any innate pressure to follow-up on what was an explosively successful debut record. It’s also the sound of a young band developing and maturing their songwriting together, as tight a unit as the endless months out on the road pay testament to.

Great product, works well. My only complaint is I believe it might have stained my white, UV blocking running top. After the first use there was yellowing all long the neckline and sleeves where I either accidentally got it on the shirt or sweating transferred it on. I’ve never had this problem before and can’t 100% be sure the lotion itself is to blame but it is the only thing that changed from other times I ran in that top. I haven’t noticed this problem with other tops so I’m not sure if it was the material itself or the color that reacted. Still going to give it 5 stars because I like the product.
