Sartori Fira Bianco

De Sartori Fira Bianco is een witte wijn uit Italië, uit de heuvels ten oosten van Verona in de regio Veneto. Hij ontstaat uit een blend van druiven: voornamelijk Garganega aangevuld met Sauvignon Blanc en Traminer. De druiven rijpen iets langer aan de stokken, worden zorgvuldig geselecteerd en vergisten bij gecontroleerde temperatuur om de aromatische karakteristieken te bewaren. Daarna rijpt de wijn enkele maanden op fijne gistcellen (lees) om frisheid te milderen en harmonie te geven.

De geur is fris en uitnodigend met tonen van witte perzik, abrikoos, bloemen van vlierbloesem en her­bale toetsen zoals tijm of munt. In de mond voelt de wijn sappig en vol aan met een fijne zuurgraad, frisse citrusaccenten zoals roze pompelmoes, en een lichte mineraliteit. Serveer gekoeld rond 10‑12°C. Combineer de wijn met een lichte quiche, risotto met vis of gegrilde scampi. 

Wijnhuis Sartori di Verona
Sartori di Verona is een familiebedrijf sinds 1898 met diepe wortels in de Verona-regio. Hun wijngaarden liggen op kalkrijke hellingen, wat bijdraagt aan de frisse mineraliteit van de wijnen. In 1898 kocht Pietro Sartori het prachtige Villa Maria, toen een hotel-restaurant, in Negrar (Valpolicella) om er zijn wijnproductie te starten.
