Spice Route Pinotage is afkomstig van schitterende wijnvelden uit de wijnregio Swartland. Deze regio is qua productie het kleinste gebied in Zuid-Afrika. Echter is de kwaliteit torenhoog te noemen. Swartland is gesitueerd in het westen van Zuid-Afrika, ten noord-westen van het beroemde Stellenbosch. Doordat de regio relatief dichtbij de Atlantische kust ligt, krijgt zij die nodige verkoeling hiervandaan. En dat is precies waar de druiven van houden. Spice Route Pinotage is een wijn van de nationale trots van Zuid-Afrika: de pinotage. Deze bijzondere druif, die binnenkort haar 100-jarige verjaardag viert, is een kruising van CInsault en Pinot Noir, en ontstond op de Universiteit van Stellenbosch. Title says it all. This is my holy grail face SPF. It’s mineral and non-toxic. It’s lightly tinted so it looks beautiful on your skin alone and helps even out your skin. It’s also matte so it wears well under makeup. It’s moisturizing and applies and blends smoothly onto the skin. Amazing product. I have it on subscribe and save.

Best smelling lotion on the market, hands down

I am a huge Maui Babe fan. It is, hands down, the best smelling lotion on the market, and I am obsessed with it. It's very smooth and refreshing when I put it on, and it does not leave any sort of sticky residue or greasiness. It's my absolute favorite and I always tell people about it when they comment on how nice I smell :)

The Maui Babe lotion is truly amazing! It smells wonderful and goes on light

First of all, let me start of saying I never write reviews, so I hope that tells you something. I bought this lotion while my husband and I were in Hawai'i on our honeymoon. I have freckles with semi-fair skin, so I tend to burn - then tan. The Maui Babe lotion is truly amazing! It smells wonderful and goes on light. We had a Jeep while visiting Hawai'i for 10 days, so I ended up with a slight case of sun poisoning on my chest. I applied the Maui Babe and Aloe for 2 days, and the sun poisoning was gone. I didn't peal AT ALL!! In addition, I literally kept my tan for at least three weeks after returning from Hawai'i. One of the more interesting things; I have noticed a difference in my skin. I have never been much of a makeup person, as I like the natural look. Mascara is it. I am 35, so age is slowly creeping up. I started using Vitamin C serum a year ago, but didn't notice much of a difference. After two weeks of using the Maui Babe; my face had a glow and looks so healthy. My fine lines seem to be less and my skin looks more alive. The lotion doesn't irritate my skin one bit, nor did it cause me to have any sort of pimples; however, I am blessed to have never had an issue in that department. I don't know if it will do the same for you that it has done for me, but I feel that the natural ingredients in this secret lotion are magic. Sometimes it's the simplest things that do the trick. I have everyone in my family using it. I highly recommend it!!

A must have for beach babes!

I absolutely love this lotion. If you want to keep your tan longer, and avoid immediate or even soon after peeling, this really works. To sum, it moisturized, prevented peeling and maintained my tan throughout the spring into the summer. The long story-- I began using this product at the end of spring, right after I returned from a Bahamaian vacation in the early spring. I naturally have a year round tan, but in the sun, I become browner and love to maintain that summer bronze glow that happens when I frolic on the beach for days. I knew it was going to be awhile before I could regularly go to the beach so I saw this product and decided to try. I used to not peel, but once I hit my 30s I began to peel regularly, after tanning. Once I started using this, I did not peel AT ALL. And, my tan did not fade. Yes, I still went to the beach with a base tan (which helps when tanning), but I am sure it would've faded quicker without this product. I also didn't start peeling until I ran out of this product. I use it everyday after getting out of the shower, all over my body. I have sensitive skin, and it didn't seem to bother it at all, and it has a light pleasant smell (not strong coconut-y). I highly recommend! Oh, because it's so light, it may not seem to be absorbing properly, but no worries-- it does, without clogging!
