Het mulchdoek van schapenwol is bedoeld voor gebruik in de moestuin en siertuin en beschermt de bodem tegen kou, uitdroging en onkruidgroei. Door de ruwe structuur helpt het doek bovendien om slakken op afstand te houden, waardoor jonge planten alle ruimte krijgen om zich goed te ontwikkelen. Het mulchdoek is gemaakt van 100% schapenwol en vormt een beschermende laag direct op de grond.

Het gebruik is eenvoudig: leg het mulchdoek op het plantenbed en knip het vooraf op maat. Maak vervolgens met een schaar of met de hand plantgaten in het doek. Plant de zaailingen in de gaten of zaai de zaden in de aarde eronder. Water geven kan gewoon over het mulchdoek heen; het materiaal laat water goed door en houdt tegelijkertijd vocht vast in de bodem.

Dit mulchdoek is biologisch afbreekbaar en volledig composteerbaar. Tijdens het verteren geeft de schapenwol stikstof, fosfor en kalium af aan de bodem, wat bijdraagt aan een gezonde bodemstructuur en plantengroei. Na ongeveer 6 tot 12 maanden lost het doek vanzelf op. Eventuele resten kun je eenvoudig door de grond werken, zodat alle voedingsstoffen optimaal worden benut. Zo combineer je bodembescherming met natuurlijke bemesting.

The only balls that have lasted with my dogs.

Won't go through "hurricane" or chain-link fencing - dogs LOVE it.

We've been using this size (large) for about 2 years now. Between our Doberman pinscher and the boxer-pitbull mix, they are tough on toys. These dogs have access to the Chuckit Ultra balls only under supervision and they run like crazy in the backyard while either fetching or holding onto the balls. It keeps our doberman out of trouble because she's running with a ball in her mouth and therefor cannot nip at the other dog when she gets overly excited. Tennis balls are lucky to last one play session with these guys, just for comparison purposes. When throwing the regular size, the ball occasionally went right through our backyard (chain link aka "hurricane") fence -- even though they shouldn't quite fit. The size large balls bounce off the fence; our only problem now is when one of the dogs does a soccer style head-butt and knocks the ball over the fence that way. After 2 years, one ball has a split down the side and two are discolored because they were left outside when we couldn't locate them after a play session. Overall I like these very much and appreciate how well they've held up.
