Deze handgemaakte klankschaal uit Nepal nodigt je uit om stil te worden en ruimte te maken voor een moment van verstilling. De schaal is vervaardigd van koper, tin en een mix van acht edele metalen (Ag, Ni, Cd, Ru, Pd, Pt, Cr, Mn). Elke klankschaal is uniek, zowel qua design als kleur, en kan afwijken van de foto. Omdat ze met de hand gemaakt worden, kan de diameter iets variëren. Klankschaal sticks bestel je apart.

Gehamerde klankschalen

Het maken van deze gehamerde klankschalen is een zorgvuldig en ambachtelijk proces. Verschillende metalen worden gesmolten en samengebracht, waarbij koper en tin de basis vormen voor het brons. Vervolgens worden schijven uit het metaal gesneden en met aandacht met de hand gehamerd tot de juiste vorm en klank. Dit gebeurt in meerdere stadia, waarbij het metaal telkens roodgloeiend moet zijn om de schaal soepel en krachtig te vormen zonder scheuren. Nadat de gewenste klank is bereikt, wordt de schaal van binnen en buiten fijn geschuurd en gepolijst, soms met beitels bewerkt voor de laatste details.

Let op: doordat deze klankschaal met de hand wordt gesmeed en gehamerd, kan de diameter enigszins variëren. De maat die wordt aangegeven, is een richtlijn.

Amazing suit for the price

So I didn't really need a suit for anything. But I've been wanting one just in case. As such, I wasn't willing to spend a lot. Yet I still wanted to look good when I wore it. This suit is amazing. I honestly would fit between a medium and a large, and with my current trend down in weight, I may buy an additional in medium(I mean, for under $100, why not?). I may still need to go to a tailor for a more custom fit, but for the price it can't be beat. And I of course haven't tied a tie since I was 16, so time to relearn that. As far as quality goes, the fabric and stitching all appear to be excellent. I went with the black, as I don't particularly look great in gray, and navy out here seems more suited for church than anything else. The quality of black is excellent. The quality of the pants is good, but I will still be favoring my dress pants that already fit well. I especially love the angle of the beast cut(whatever it is called). Whether I choose the vest or not, the black contrast with all of my dress shirts is fantastic. I will include photos sometime when I'm not too self-conscious about taking selfies.
