Een diepblauwe olie met een zoete, licht kruidige geur met een fruitige ondertoon. De olie is afkomstig uit de bloemen van de echte kamille. In het lampje is blauwe kamille in te zetten bij hoofdpijn en slapeloosheid, vooral samen met lavendel. Maar de grootste kracht van blauwe kamille is op de huid. Het is de ideale huidverzorger door de aanwezigheid van bisabolol en chamazuleen.

Het is één van de meest betrouwbare ontstekingsremmende oliën in de aromatherapie en is toe te passen bij dermatitis, eczeem, ontstoken huid en (brand)wonden. Bij gebruik op de huid dient u de essentiële olie wel te mengen met een massage- of vette plantolie.
