The Roland XS-1HD is a versatile and compact multi-format matrix switcher designed to deliver high-quality video performance in a variety of professional settings. This table-top switcher, with the width of a 13” laptop, features four HDMI inputs and outputs, supporting up to WUXGA/1080p resolution with 4:4:4/10-bit processing. Each input is equipped with a frame synchronizer and scaler, allowing seamless switching and scaling of different video formats. The XS-1HD offers three operation modes: Matrix Mode for switching four sources to any of four outputs, Switcher Mode for traditional real-time switching with PinP, key-compositing, and dissolve transitions, and Split Mode for PinP of up to three inset windows. The built-in eight-channel digital audio mixer handles audio from four HDMI signals and stereo analog input, ensuring high-quality sound integration. The XS-1HD also includes an EDID emulator and is HDCP-compliant, making it ideal for live events, conferences, and installations that require multiple video sources and destinations.
