Met ToshiFarm broed voor Eikhaas kun je eenvoudig zelf Eikhaas kweken. Dit krachtige broed van de Grifola Frondosa groeit het beste in koelere omgeving tot 18 graden. Eikhaas kweken is heel eenvoudig en door iedereen uit te voeren. Je kunt ze bovendien kweken zonder kas; een kweekset met ToshiFarm broed en gepasteuriseerde houtsnippers is al voldoende. Let op: deze strain groeit niet op koffiedik, maar enkel op hardhoutsnippers. Gebruik hiervoor bijvoorbeeld een Masters Mix en 250 gram broed.

De Eikhaas, beter bekend als Maitake, is enkel in het wild te vinden en is zéér geliefd bij wildplukkers. Eikhaas is uitstekend te bakken op de BBQ en is een ware delicatesse. Maitake groeit aan de voet van levende eiken en op stobben ervan. In Nederland komt de soort sporadisch voor in zomer en herfst. Met dit broed kun je de zelf Maitake kweken op hardhout stammen of hardhoud pellets/snippers waardoor je het hele jaar kunt oogsten!

Great for little dogs but squeaker breaks too easily
My Maltese is about 4.5 pounds and absolutely loves these! He got very excited to play with it right away. The shape is like a slightly flattened ball which is great bc he can pick it up in his tiny mouth. It’s actually quite cute to see him run with it back to me. When you throw it, the way it bounces and rolls is very unpredictable, which I think adds to the fun. Sometimes my pup drops it while running back and it goes rolling or awkwardly bouncing away from him which causes him to get more excited to chase it and grab it again. It’s been a highly entertaining toy for almost a week straight. The only downside is that the squeaker in it isn’t very durable. After a few days of playing and chewing to squeak it himself, the squeaker barely makes any noise. My pup isn’t an aggressive chewer at all so if your dog is an aggressive chewer, the squeaker really will not last.
