Colore giallo paglierino, con perlage fine e persistente. Al naso esprime il caratteristico profilo floreale delle uve moscato. Al palato freschezza e dolcezza sono molto equilibrate e ne rendono la beva piacevole.Ci piace perché nonostante Montalcino sia diventata famosa nel mondo per il Brunello, il Moscadello è il vino più antico e ricco di storia, gia decantato da Francesco Redi nel suo ditirambo Bacco in Toscana. Il Moscadello di Montalcino Frizzante DOC Tenuta Il Poggione è prodotto con uve moscato, sottoposte a pressatura soffice. Il mosto fermenta in ambiente refrigerato con presa di spuma naturale (metodo Charmat). Nasce così un vino piacevolmente frizzante, semplice, immediato da gustare con la pasticceria secca e mignon.
Si abbina splendidamente alla pasticceria secca e mignon.
