Al doende kende hij de streek als geen ander en legde hij de relaties voor zijn latere loopbaan als handelaar. Inmiddels treedt zijn zoon Jacques in zijn voetsporen. In de bourgognestreek van Mercurey tot Santenay koopt hij van overwegend kleine boeren wijn van Chardonnay en Pinot Noir

Kenmerkend voor zijn selectie wijnen is een fruitvol en fris karakter in een toegankelijke stijl. Het zijn soepele wijnen met zuiverheid en een zeer goede prijs/kwaliteit.

Lekker bij: Goed bij de borrel, lichtere voorgerechten en snacks.

Leuk weetje: De druiven komen uit verschillende oogstjaren, daarom staat er geen jaartal op de fles maar NV, wat betekent; Non Vintage.
