Carnegie het bordspel werd geïnspireerd door het leven van Andrew Carnegie die in 1835 in Schotland werd geboren. Andrew Carnegie en zijn ouders emigreerden in 1848 naar de Verenigde Staten. Hoewel hij zijn carrière begon als telegrafist, werd hij uiteindelijk een van de belangrijkste spelers in de opkomst van de Amerikaanse staalindustrie. Dat maakte hem tot een van de rijkste mannen ter wereld en een icoon van de American Dream.
Andrew Carnegie was ook een weldoener en filantroop; na zijn dood in 1919 werd meer dan $ 350 miljoen van zijn vermogen nagelaten aan verschillende stichtingen, en nog eens $ 30 miljoen ging naar verschillende goede doelen. Zijn schenkingen creëerden bijna 2500 gratis openbare bibliotheken die zijn naam dragen: de Carnegie-bibliotheken.
Over de gameplay van het spel Carnegie
Tijdens het spel rekruteer en beheer je werknemers, breid je je bedrijf uit, investeer je in onroerend goed, produceer en verkoop je goederen en creëer je transportketens in de Verenigde Staten; je kunt zelfs werken met belangrijke persoonlijkheden uit die tijd.
Het spel speelt zich af over 20 ronden; spelers hebben elk één beurt per ronde. Bij elke beurt kiest de actieve speler een van de vier acties, die de andere spelers mogen volgen. Het doel van het spel is om het meest prestigieuze bedrijf op te bouwen, gesymboliseerd door overwinningspunten.

I grabbed these LOYEE toys because my little teacup dog needed something to chew when the boys are loud and I’m making lunches. For the price they’re surprisingly durable — survived a few rough play sessions without falling apart — and the different shapes keep her interested so she’s not chewing shoes. They’re soft enough that the twins can toss them without hurting the pup, and washing them is easy when they get drool or dirt on them. If you need an inexpensive pack to keep a small dog entertained and not chewing up your tools or kids’ stuff, these do the job.

All the plush type toys and the frog have a great squeak toy in them that isn't too loud like most!! All are a decent size and have kept my girl entertained since I opened the package!! Love that they are bright and vibrant colors and seem to be very good quality!! My 9lh Chihuahua for size reference 😂 actually she wouldn't stop trying to steal them when I was taking the pictures lol. She especially loves the big frog and ball that you can put snacks into! The red bone seems to be a very hard durable plastic so she won't be able to chew it Into small pieces and choke, so very safe!

Chew ball and carrot only things to last.
The chew ball is awesome. Lasts forever. The carrot and multicolored rope bone also last and are very durable. The flamingo lasted ten minutes and the stuffing went everywhere quickly, I converted it into a makeshift smaller rope chew, lol. The banana had appeal….but my dogs destroyed it in two days. I liked the banana but it is flimsy. So far I’ve sequestered the Star and “meat” toys, they don’t look to durable.
It’s a cheap product so you get what it’s worth. I wanted a cool flamingo but the flamingo was the easiest for my Brussels Griffon to destroy.
All in all the carrot and chew ball are good but the rest not so much.
Two stars.
