Vooral in de buurt van zijn jeugdvrienden, twee paradijsvogels, vraagt hij zich af wat er eigenlijk van hem is overgebleven. Eus scalpeert de hypocrisie van de middenklasse en ontdekt algauw dat hij iedereen moreel kan verslaan, met uitzondering van één iemand: zichzelf. Dat leidt tot een terugval in oude gewoontes, die niet per se door iedereen worden gewaardeerd.Afslag 23 is de nieuwe roman van Özcan Akyol, beter bekend als Eus. Als geen ander weet hij de bittere ernst van het leven te verpakken in inktzwarte humor. De rauwe taal in en de ongekende vaart van dit boek maken van de auteur een ongrijpbaar fenomeen. Eus is een van de belangrijkste literaire stemmen van zijn generatie.
Özcan Akyol is televisie- en radiomaker, columnist, maar vooral schrijver van twee spraakmakende romans (Eus en Toerist) en van het meestbesproken Boekenweekessay van de laatste jaren, Generaal zonder leger.

very large, but otherwise perfect

Was looking for glacier sunglasses, at a reasonable price, and polarized. I found these and bought 4 pairs, one for each family member, for an upcoming trip. Glass look great! They are lightweight, polarized and have the side shields we needed. But, they are huge! All four must be returned. They don't fit any of us. It's a shame...they are perfect, besides the size. But glacier glasses must fit snugly to the face and these are far, far from our skin.

The Best Sunglasses

I was hesitant to purchase these at first. I'm so glad I did, though. They are light-weight, comfortable, and super stylish. I work in the desert, so the side guards are very helpful in keeping the sand and dust out (not entirely, but they help). I will absolutely purchase again.

Best battery bank I have used so far

Omg I love this thing. Ordered one from Anker and it took a few days to get to me. Loved it so much I ordered two more from Amazon due to shipping speed.
I also own the larger version of this with the retractable cable and kept it as my primary battery Bank.
The device is small enough to easily fit and comfortably hold in my pocket. It's super fast charges my phone with its retractable cable which is insanely useful. The digital display on it is perfectly designed.
I currently use three devices consistently throughout my entire day that require recharging. This battery bank is insanely useful.
The difference between this bank and the others comes down to a few things. Really good brand name as Anker has made some really good products over the years. The retractable usb-c cable is absolutely a game changer. The 10,000 mah battery can charge my phone twice before needing to recharged. It's a small cube and for me I can easily just throw it in my pocket or if somebody was to add a metal clip they could just clip it to their clothes and forget about it. I travel a lot so you have no idea how awesome it is to have a device die and simply just plug it in to the bank and continue walking without having to find a power outlet. If I could suggest anything he would be for the brand to conclude a clip that we can use so I could clip it to my backpack. Well that's it
