Dit album komt er 5 jaar na zijn debuutalbum ‘Contrast’, 8 jaar nadat hij laureaat werd bij De Nieuwe Lichting van Studio Brussel en met meer dan 20 jaar gitaarervaring op de teller.

Milo is ondertussen 27 en beleefde de voorbije jaren wat hij zelf noemt, een Quarter Life Crisis. Hij beleefde enkele pure rock ’n roll jaren met vele shows zowel in België als in het buitenland, ontelbare promo momenten en enkele onmiskenbare hitsingles zoals ‘Here With Me’, ‘New Beginning’, ‘Fool’ & ‘When I Feel This Way’. Zijn carrière tot nu toe telt maar liefst 27 miljoen streams en 4 gouden singles.

Met zijn eerste loon kocht hij een eigen huis, bouwde daar ook z’n persoonlijke muziekstudio in. Vorig jaar kende hij een muzikaal hoogtepunt met een passage op het hoofdpodium van Pukkelpop, waar hij het publiek wist te overtuigen met enerzijds zijn virtuoze gitaarspel en anderzijds zijn meesterlijke popsongs.

Verder zocht hij zijn soelaas in skaten, kocht hij een brommer, liet een tattoo sleeve zetten op zijn arm, liet een snor groeien, kende velerlei amoureuze hoogtes en laagtes en verliet uiteindelijk vorig jaar België om enkele maanden te herbronnen bij vrienden in London.

Daar legde hij de basis voor dit nieuwe album. Puttend uit zijn persoonlijk leven schreef Milo een rits nieuwe songs. Naast songwriter zorgt Milo ook voor de zang, is hij componist, gitarist en allround muzikant. Hij werkte samen met TheColorGrey-drummer James Williams, bassist Victor Defoort (Roméo Elvis) en gekende producers Jo Francken en Pieterjan Maertens (Tamino, Zaz, Milow, Het Zesde Metaal, etc.). Mastering gebeurde dan weer in New York, bij Dave Kutch, mastering engineer ook voor Alicia Keys, The Weekend, Dua Lipa, en nog vele andere sterren.

However there were just one too many convoluted plot points, sentences just did not flow nicely at times, and I was left with a lot of confusion on my end. I think it has the bones of being a great story but seems like it was rushed and I had to push myself to finish the last of the book and was left with an unsatisfying ending.
