Klimaat:
Mediterraan klimaat met veel zonuren, warme, droge zomers en milde winters met voldoende neerslag. De verschillende winden regulariseren en blazen de wijngaarden droog.

Ondergrond:
Grenache en Syrah uit de Roussillon (Maury) aan de voet van de Pyreneeën. Stenige zandgronden met kalk. Mourvèdre komt van wijngaarden dichter tegen de zee vlakbij de appellatie van La Clape. Diepe kalkrijke gronden met een hoog kleigehalte.

Vinificatie:
60% grenache, 20% syrah en 20% mourvèdre. De druiven worden met de hand geplukt en afzonderlijk gefermenteerd. Lange, temperatuur gecontroleerde maceratie. Grenache ondergaat een maceration carbonique. Rijping op grote vaten waar de malolactische gisting plaats vind. Daarna nog 9 maand op Franse eik waarna blenden alvorens te bottelen.

I've ordered 8 of these Button-down collared, long sleeved Oxford shirts in eight different colors. I'm 6', weigh 195. And have a 44" chest and fairly broad shoulders. The XL give me ample room, plenty of shirt tail to tuck in. And are well made. The shirts have a nice soft feeling to them. If you wash them with like items, and dry them likewise, taking them out before the cycle ends and hanging them. You won't have a single wrinkle. The shirts are a little heavier than a poplin shirt and can be worn year-round. These are great casual shirts for jeans and a sport coat, or slacks. I like the quality and the colors. I also like the thickness of the shirts. All of the shirts I've bought, black, blue, etc, have white buttons. Which makes them more of a casual shirt. But well worth the price.
