Rocca di Castagnoli Chianti Classico is afkomstig uit de UGA (Unione di Viticoltori di Gaiole) van Gaiole in Chianti, gelegen in het hart van het beroemde Chianti Classico-gebied in Toscane, Italië. Het wijnhuis Rocca di Castagnoli bezit in totaal 63 hectare aan wijngaarden verspreid rond het middeleeuwse fort en het dorp, waar de naam van het bedrijf vandaan komt. De wijngaarden bevinden zich op verschillende percelen met diverse kenmerken, zoals verschillende blootstellingen, hoogtes en bodemsoorten. Deze variatie in hoogte en bodemsamenstelling creëert een uniek terroir voor de druiven, wat een belangrijke factor is bij het ontwikkelen van de complexiteit en karakteristieke smaken van de wijn. De druiven worden met de hand geoogst en zorgvuldig geselecteerd om alleen de beste en rijpste druiven te gebruiken voor de wijnbereiding. Na de oogst ondergaan de druiven een maceratieproces van 12 dagen. Tijdens deze maceratie komen de kleur, aroma's en smaken van de druiven vrij, waardoor de wijn zijn karakteristieke eigenschappen krijgt. Na de maceratie volgt de malolactische gisting, die plaatsvindt in stalen tanks. Vervolgens wordt de wijn overgebracht naar typische Chianti-vaten, waar hij minstens 1 jaar rijpt. Deze vaten zijn vaak gemaakt van eikenhout en dragen bij aan de ontwikkeling van complexe aroma's en de structuur van de wijn. Na de vatrijping wordt de wijn nog eens 3 maanden in staal geplaatst om verdere stabilisatie en verfijning te ondergaan. Na deze fase wordt de wijn gebotteld en rijpt hij nog minimaal 6 maanden op fles voordat hij op de markt wordt gebracht.De geur en smaak van Rocca di Castagnoli Chianti Classico
Rocca di Castagnoli Chianti Classico is een wijn die indruk maakt met zijn uitstekende complexiteit en smaakstructuur. Met zijn diepe rode kleur en violette reflecties straalt de wijn elegantie uit. De geur is intens en rijk, met een overvloed aan fruitige tonen. Vooral de aroma's van sappige kersen vallen op, terwijl de frisse ondertoon goed in balans is met levendige tannines. Great book for understanding how the world works!

Dalio has a unique perspective on the topic of the changing world order. He is a successful businessman who has spent his career analyzing economic trends and patterns, and this book is a culmination of his findings. I took Jeffrey Sachs's Globalization class on EDX Academy and somehow stumbled upon this book in between class and finding books around the subject.
I watched his youtube video that generalizes the book and was blown away by how my current class I was taking aligned with it.
This book is an easy read, and especially for those who aren't well-versed about world history and world economics. I will admit that I do love history, and am learning economics, so this book was a beautiful way merge all these timelines together.
The book breaks down and summarizes key points in world history and economics to make points to get the message across each chapter.
Font size is great! Might even be considered larger compared to other books.
The only thing I wish this book provided was thicker paper in the physical book itself, especially for the hardcover version.
If Ray Dahlio ever comes out with a special edition of this with a higher quality paper, I would gladly purchase it for my collection.

Excellent book – exciting and educational!
