Wat een feest! Met zijn allen aan tafel voor Kerst. Deze panklare kalkoen heeft een rijke hoeveelheid smaakvol vlees en is naar eigen wens te vullen met een lekkere zelfgemaakte vulling en kruiden. De Caringa Light Bronze kalkoen is langzaam groeiende soort die is geselecteerd op zijn traditionele smaak en niet op grootte. De kalkoenen hebben een fijn buitenleven gehad op Anton's boerderij in Rijkevoort. Hier lopen ze vrij rond in de wei en hebben een ruime stal om ’s avonds op stok te gaan. Ze krijgen alle tijd en ruimte om te groeien en een eenvoudig dieet van tarwe en alles dat ze tijdens het scharrelen tegenkomen. Dit alles zorgt voor sappig smaakvol vlees met een stevige textuur.
De kalkoen weegt gemiddeld 4-4,5KG. Sommige kalkoenen zijn iets zwaarder en sommige wat lichter.
Voorbereidingen op een feestmaal
- Haal een uur van te voren de kalkoen uit de koelkast en uit de verpakking, dep het vlees droog en laat het op kamertemperatuur komen. Zorg dat de boter ook op kamertemperatuur is. Zet het rooster klaar op het aanrecht en verwarm de oven voor op 200 °C. De braadslee kunt u alvast onderin de oven zetten om het braadvocht en vet op te vangen. Zorg dat deze even groot is als de kalkoen. Vul uw kalkoen met een vulling naar keuze. Sluit vervolgens de opening van de kalkoen met het touw en de tandenstokers. Dit doet u door het touw rond de ingeprikte tandenstokers te binden, alsof u uw schoenen strikt.
- Smeer de kalkoen grondig in met de zachte boter en bestrooi met zout en peper. Leg de kalkoen in de braadslee of op het rooster. Prik de thermometer (verwijder de beschermkoker) tussen de poot en de borst van de kalkoen. De thermometer blijft in de kalkoen terwijl deze in de oven zit.
- Schuif de kalkoen boven de bakplaat in de oven. Verlaag na 20 minuten de temperatuur naar 120 °C. U kunt dit versnellen door de ovendeur even op een kier te zetten.
- Controleer de kerntemperatuur elk uur. Bestrijk de kalkoen gedurende het hele gaarproces regelmatig met het vet en de vleessappen, die u in de slee of op de bakplaat opvangt. Als de kalkoen te snel bruint, dek hem dan af met aluminiumfolie.
- Controleer na 2,5 uur de kerntemperatuur. Is de kalkoen 75 °C , dan is ‘ie perfect. Prik met een mes in de zij en de poot van kalkoen. Komt er helder vocht uit, dan is uw kalkoen gaar. Is uw kalkoen nog niet helemaal op temperatuur? Bedek hem dan met aluminiumfolie tegen uitdroging. Bekijk iedere 5 minuten de temperatuur, tot de kerntemperatuur 75°C is.
- Haal de kalkoen uit de oven, bedek losjes met aluminiumfolie en laat 15 minuten rusten.
Bereidingstijd 3 - 3,5 uur (+ 1 uur eerder uit koelkast).
- De kalkoen kan nog deels bevroren geleverd worden

Comfortable and Easy to Wear Daily

My daughter has been wearing these navy/blue shoes since the weather has been less rainy and more sunny. They are great for outdoor play, especially on days when it's warm outside. The knit mesh upper keeps her feet from overheating, and the cushioned insole feels supportive without being stiff. At size 2, the fit is accurate and the width runs a bit roomy, which gave her some growing room without feeling loose.
The slip-on design with elastic laces and pull tabs is a real plus. She can get them on and off without any help, which she loves. Great kids' shoe — easy on, comfy all day

Cute, Comfortable, Light-Weight Shoes, Perfect for School

These have turned out to be great everyday shoes for my 5 year old. She normally wears a size 10, but since that size wasn’t available, I ordered the 11 expecting her to grow into them. I was pleasantly surprised that they already fit her pretty well. There’s still a little extra room in the toe area, but the shoes fit securely around her ankles so they don’t feel loose or slip off while walking or playing.
She says they’re very comfortable and loves how easy they are to slip on by herself. The lightweight design is nice for everyday wear, and they’ve held up well so far despite being worn almost daily. They've become her favorite shoes to wear! Also the pink/lavender color is really pretty in person. Overall, I’m very happy with them and would order again.

Really good shoes at a fair price. My daughter loves the pink and purple gradient colors. Really beautiful. Shoes have proven themselves very durable. She's been wearing these a few times a week for the last couple months and they still look new aside from some dirt stains. Fit perfectly. Very comfortable. This is always her first pick in the morning when she's getting dressed. Good breathability you can wear these in hot summer weather without sweaty feet. Versatile shoe looks good enough to wear out and about or exercise in.
