In de jaren 70 begon vader Henri Miquel op zijn Château Cazal Viel de eerste Syrah druiven aan te planten. Hierdoor krijg hij vrijwel meteen de bijnaam Mr. Syrah. In 1980 verscheen de eerste wijnen van hem op de markt: een Syrah uit de Saint-Chinian. Daarnaast vocht Henri voor een aparte AOC en die kwam in 1982. Een waar hoogtepunt. Pas in 1992 plantte de familie haar eerste Viognier druiven en drie jaar later was de eerste Viognier wijn een feit. Inmiddels staat alweer de achtste generatie aan het roer, Laurent Miquel slaagt erin hoge prijzen te halen bij internationale wijn wedstrijden. De druiven worden 's nachts geoogst. Na het ontstelen ondergaan de druiven een fermentatie op gecontroleerde temperatuur. Twintig procent van de wijn heeft gedurende zes maanden gerijpt in Franse eiken vaten. Gelegen in de gemeente Cessenon in het zuidelijke deel van het gebied Saint-Chinian, op een hoogte van honderd tot tweehonderd meter. De bodem is kalk- en leemhoudend met kiezelsteen en rotsachtige ondergrond. De oppervlakte van de wijngaard is vijftig hectare. De oriëntatie van de wijngaard is noordoost.Een mooie blend voor deze Laurent Miquel Solas Languedoc
En dan krijg je uiteindelijke een typische, Zuid-Franse blend met dominante, kruidige Syrah en sappige, volle Grenache. Deze Laurent Miquel Pas de Geant Languedoc Rood heeft een rijpe neus van rood fruit, met heerlijke tonen van mokka en kruiden. Zachte wijn, met intense smaken van bessen en karakteristieke rozemarijn, tijm en tonen van bloemen. Daarnaast is Garrigue te ruiken in het glas. Garrigue is het lage struikgewas dat in Zuid-Frankrijk groeit. Vol bloemen en kruiden met een heerlijke geur.Shipping Notes

Not the quality or color combination I expected for the price, returns are not guaranteed

I was really looking forward to receiving this room divider as I loved the top design (unique compared to other "square" room divider tops), but sadly this was a dud. I really wanted to like this, but the finishing/quality, wood color, and rattan/bamboo coloring just did not work for me. It was packaged very well (so that earned some stars back), but for the price it did not meet expectations on quality. The wood itself is discolored in different places (beyond just "vintage" - it looked strange with random red-wood boards on the slatting on the bottom rather than truly tan wood color) and on the sides you can see it was made out of cheap plywood (with the multiple layer lines clearly showing). While I know it's supposed to be a rustic wood look, the way that pieces were joined and the direction of the grain just looked cheap and overly unfinished in my opinion. The rattan was very yellow compared to the wood and the plastic pieces - what confused me the most was that the product images show the "window crossbars" as the back of the room divider, and if that's the case, then the front shows really ugly plastic trim around the rattan. Perhaps the darker brown would have been a better choice, or ultimately a painted white one, but in general I'm really bummed the natural color one wasn't what I was hoping for. ALSO beware the seller is 3rd party, so you have to work directly with the seller to be able to return it and they will ask for photos to explain why you don't like it. If you buy, be prepared to potentially not be able to return it if the seller doesn't want to accept your return request.

Solid Floating Shelves 🛠️🏠

I have installed four sets of the black floating shelves in my office. They are made of high quality materials, featuring a sophisticated black woodgrain finish with a natural texture. Supposedly, each unit can handle up to 22 pounds, though I would not recommend testing that limit with your vintage bowling ball collection if you value your flooring. They are awesome.
The value is good for a set of two. Each shelf measures 22x7x1 (56x17x3 cm) inches, providing a decent amount of storage for books or decor. The installation was straightforward since the hardware for multiple wall types was included. They work well in the kitchen for spices or in the bedroom for personal belongings.
One tip for a secure fit: use a level during installation and make sure the bracket is flush against the wall before sliding the shelf on, or your photos might look like they are sliding off a mountain 📐
These shelves offer a clean, modern look and stay stable once mounted correctly. They are a practical choice for adding functional display space to any room 🖼️
