Eén van de meest gedetailleerde topografische kaart die via de verkoopkanalen verkrijgbaar is. Gemaakt door de Nederlandse Topografische dienst bevat deze kaart een groot deel van de topografische elementen van het landschap en geeft daarmee een vrij nauwkeurig beeld van het terrein. 

De kaart verschijnt in meerkleurendruk en wordt gevouwen geleverd. De kaart heeft een kaartbeeld van 40 x 50 cm, wat overeenkomt met 40 x 50 km in het terrein. Het formaat van de kaartbladen (kaartbeeld plus legenda en randinformatie) is 59 x 84 cm.

Naast gebruik in professionele kringen, wordt de topografische kaart veel gebruikt voor o.a. GPS gebruik (coördinaten staan keurig in een km-grid weergegeven), scouting en survivaltraining, maar ook door een steeds groter wordende groep wandelaars. Nu de toeristische wandelkaarten vreemd genoeg van steeds mindere kwaliteit worden, blijft de topografische kaart het enige alternatief.
