La atención se enfoca en lo que se percibe en el momento presente, en el aquí y ahora, y se acepta sin juzgar si lo que pasa es correcto o no. Así se alcanza un estado mental que permite discernir los pensamientos útiles de los que no lo son.

Para llevar adelante prácticas saludables y generar hábitos de bienestar como este, es preciso trabajar en nuestra agenda y hacer espacio para incluirlos. Por ese motivo, es importante reconocer la valiosa diferencia entre lo importante y lo urgente.

A veces, a fuerza de postergar, lo importante se convierte también en urgente, como suele suceder con la salud, en todas sus formas, física, emocional, psíquica, social o espiritual.

Mindfulness, also known as full attention or awareness, involves consciously paying attention to thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, and the surrounding environment.

Attention is focused on what is perceived in the present moment, in the here and now, and is accepted without judging whether what is happening is right or wrong. This achieves a mental state that allows discerning useful thoughts from those that are not.

To carry out healthy practices and generate wellness habits like this, it is necessary to work on our schedule and make space to include them. For this reason, it is important to recognize the valuable difference between what is important and what is urgent.

Sometimes, by postponing, the important also becomes urgent, as often happens with health, in all its forms, physical, emotional, psychological, social, or spiritual.
