The Cardprotector is the core of each Secrid wallet, and works as a minimalistic, slim card case on its own. The patented mechanism provides a simple and fast access to your cards. Push the lever and the cards slide out smoothly, ready for immediate use. The strong case protects the cards against bending, breaking and unauthorised wireless scanning. Depending on the thickness of your cards, it can hold up to 4-6 cards. You can also choose to store just one card.
Nearly 100 craftsmen are building the Secrid wallets with great precision in Holland. Each Cardprotector comes with unique serial number as a proof of authenticity.

The aluminium Cardprotector protects cards that use RFID and NFC technology against unauthorized scanning. These are cards - such as public transport cards, entry cards, latest credit and debit cards - which include a chip and antenna for wireless communication.
In order to safely use an RFID and NFC cards with Cardprotector, just slide a card out in one movement. By sliding the cards out but not removing them, the signal is reduced but still sufficient for contact over short distances. Your cards are better protected, even during use.
Maximum card capacity
The maximum number of cards in Cardprotector depends on the type of the cards. Cards with embossed letters are thicker, regular cards are slimmer. Please find the chart below:
Embossed + Regular = Total
4 + 0 = 4
1 + 5 = 6
3 + 2 = 5
The numbers above are maximum capacity - you can always carry just one card inside the Cardprotector as well.

The awful smells keeps it from being five stars
Style: SPF 50 Lotion Mineral Sunscreen, Size: 3 Ounce (1 Pack)
I purchased two variants of this sunscreen - the 50 SPF lotion and the 33 SPF lotion. Despite the descriptions indicating that they have different scents, both seem to have the same scent, which is awful.
One of the most important factors when purchasing a mineral sunscreen is the ease of application to the skin, and in my particular case, the ease of application to facial hair / a beard. I feel this sunscreen is lightweight and very easy to apply to the skin, including easy to apply to facial hair / a beard without stretching / pulling the skin. This makes it easy to wash off with a men's face wash. I feel the 33 SPF lotion is slightly more lightweight and easier to apply than the 50 SPF lotion.
Another important factor when selecting a mineral sunscreen is the percentage of zinc oxide. This sunscreen meets the 20% or higher criteria, which makes it ideal for prolonged periods of exposed to UVA / UVB radiation. I would probably only recommend this sunscreen for incidental sun exposure; I am not sure how sweat resistant this sunscreen is being how lightweight it is and that it is not considered a sport sunscreen.
I highly recommend and will continue to purchase.
