Did You Know? The active ingredient is heat-killed Burkholderia spp. strain A396. Its natural compounds damage insect exoskeletons and disrupt molting—one reason this EPA-registered biopesticide works against soft-bodied and chewing pests on ornamentals and edibles alike (EPA Reg. No. 84059-14-97021).
- Type: Ready-to-Use (RTU) foliar insecticide spray—no measuring or mixing.
- Active Ingredient: Heat-killed Burkholderia spp., strain A396, with spent fermentation media (bio-based mode of action). EPA Reg. No. 84059-14-97021.
- For Use On: Roses, perennials, annuals, container and other ornamental plants; also labeled for use on many fruits and vegetables.
- Controls/Suppresses: Aphids, thrips, Japanese beetles, mealybugs, scales, mites, cutworms, and more (30+ listed pests).
- How to Apply: Spray foliage—top and underside—until lightly wet at the first sign of pests; repeat about every two weeks as needed. Avoid spraying while bees are actively foraging.
- Pollinator & Family Friendly: Uses “good” bacterial metabolites and is designed not to harm beneficial insects or pollinators when used as directed.
- What It Is: A biological insecticide that works through contact/ingestion by enzymatically degrading pest exoskeletons and interfering with molting.
