Our #16 rod has a line rating of 40lb to 80lb. It is the longer 8′ version of our #15. At 8′, the rod will take a lot of the abuse when the fish is on the way up which will prevent pulling hooks and will save the angler’s back. We built this rod standard with a nylon gimble, an HD Fuji hooded reel seat, and HD Batson boat guides.
