A truly striking and unusual antique brooch. Beautifully presented in its original antique box and rich in both history and sentiment. Created in 9 carat gold, the brooch centres on an exquisite oval enamel panel, alive with colour and fine detail. We believe this enamel panel began life as part of a Victorian jewel, possibly a locket, and was thoughtfully converted into a brooch during the 1930s.

The enamel depicts a carefully arranged posy of flowers, each rendered with remarkable precision. Among them are a rose, forget-me-nots, a pansy and a daisy; all flowers deeply rooted in Victorian symbolism. Roses spoke of love and devotion, forget-me-nots of remembrance and enduring bonds, pansies of loving thoughts, and daisies of innocence and loyalty. Together, they form a quiet yet powerful message of affection, memory and sentiment.

The warm tone of the 9ct gold setting frames the enamel beautifully, allowing the colours to glow softly, while the original presentation box completes the story of this special jewel.

A rare and evocative piece, full of symbolism and layered history. Perfect for a collector or for someone drawn to jewellery with meaning, romance and individuality.

Interesting Premise
Color: Blue, Color: Blue
It's an interesting premise for a toy -- it has a vibrating gyrator in the middle which turns on randomly for random durations. This then causes the ball to vibrate and roll around the floor. It really needs to be on a hardwood floor to move, though -- when I put it on their dog bed, it vibrates but then doesn't move anywhere. I tried a few times to get my four dogs to interact this this ball toy, but they are clearly not interested.
