Fitting and handling
When setting posts into the ground, aim to bury at least one third of the total post length to ensure stability, and compact the backfill firmly around the base. Store posts flat and off the ground on level bearers if not being installed straight away, keeping them clear of standing water and covered to limit moisture uptake before fixing.
