With a 40-mm aluminum pole, wall thickness of 2 mm, and fiberglass ribs, 9' Octagon Flex Market Umbrella (UM840) by Treasure Garden is built to withstand what nature throws its way. With a modern market umbrella look, this umbrella couples its strength with visual appeal. While most market umbrellas are crafted with a modest 1.5" aluminum pole, this umbrella is crafted with an astounding 1.58" aluminum pole. This allows the umbrella to still possess enough lightness to move it around freely but adds increased stability and strength. It does not stop there! Treasure Garden engineered this umbrella with an increased wall thickness of ~.078 inches which helps supports greater weight and stronger winds. Lastly, the highly-demanded fiberglass ribs are more durable, flexible, and wind-resistant compared to traditional steel ribs. As for customization, Treasure Garden allows you to select from three beautiful, custom finishes (Silver Shadow, Bronze, and Black) and hundreds of fabrics for your canopy. This umbrella is a brand new add to Treasure Garden's prestigious line of umbrellas and this is another example of how they continue to go above and beyond typical industry standards.

Care and Maintenance

This sunshade is easy to care for. Simply hose off to clean or spot treat for stains. To further extend the lifespan of your umbrella, store in a protective cover away from the elements. Avoid using the tilt function during windy weather and try not to force the ribs apart when opening; this could damage your umbrella. If you plan on using your umbrella near salt water or an indoor pool, wipe down regularly to prevent paint blistering. Don't forget to store it ahead of a storm!

Great Teething Toy for an Active Puppy
Our 6-month-old Goldendoodle has really enjoyed chewing on these rings. They’ve been especially helpful while she’s been teething, and so far she hasn’t made a dent in them, which is impressive given how much she chews. There’s clearly some sort of flavor or scent on the toy that makes it especially attractive to her, so it keeps her engaged much longer than some other chew toys we’ve tried. The rings feel durable, well made, and are a great way to keep an active puppy occupied. Highly recommend for teething puppies or dogs that are aggressive chewers.

My aggressive chewer had it roughed up in about 10 minutes, and she lost interest.
Both of my dogs were interested in these right away and started playing with them as soon as I gave them to them. After the first day though, they lost interest. They’ve had them for a couple of weeks now and I can’t really get them to go back to them. These aren’t squeaky toys, which is usually what they prefer, so that may be part of it. The size is decent and works for both of my dogs. My smaller dog isn’t much of an aggressive chewer, but she did chew on it some. My bigger dog is an aggressive chewer (about 85 lbs), and she had this one roughed up pretty quickly. After about 10 minutes, it already had some sharp, jagged edges. That makes me a little concerned about safety since it could scratch her mouth. As far as chew resistance and durability, it didn’t hold up the way I expected for something advertised for aggressive chewers. For value, it’s not the best considering how quickly it wore down and the lack of continued interest from my dogs.
