In addition to having the versatility of standard spools, sleeved spools have an open top shell over the spools outer wall. It provides the user the option to thermally influence the inner tube and its content without disrupting any ongoing process. Whether it is a liquid or solid, this static matter can be loaded through the open- top and drained through its bottom port. The sleeve’s narrow shape allows for a small quantity thermal influencing media to cover a substantial amount of surface area.
