Handcrafted to order from recycled precious metals, each piece is cast, assembled, and finished by hand to reflect its intended character. Gemstones are carefully chosen for their colour and brilliance, then precisely hand-set to complement the design and deepen the story it tells. Initially it was a bit challenging to set up as I was not fortunate enough to have assistance (the instructions tell you that you need two people for part of the installation process). I also had to play around with placement a bit as my available installation space was extremely limited and neither of the listed/'suggested mounting situations worked for me; however, with some head-scratching and debating with myself, I finally figured how to make it work how and where I needed it it, and all was good!! It functions well, and holds adequate weight, and looks really good with the light lacquer finish...the only thing I will say to a potential buyer is to make sure you have room to walk past it easily when its closed down because it still sticks out a few inches even when closed down...overall, very happy with this item and would purchase again.
