El tema principal de esta investigación es la reconfiguración y transformación social en Aguadilla a la luz de la presencia militar de los Estados Unidos en la Base Punta Borinquen. Varios han sido los investigadores que han entrado en la temática de la milicia, pero muy pocos se han enfocado en el impacto social.El pueblo de Aguadilla tiene la peculiaridad de que experimentó diversos cambios a partir de la entrada del ejército de los Estados Unidos, convirtiendo a parte del municipio en un enclave militar. El entorno urbano y agrícola del pueblo fue foco de muchas de estas transformaciones. Los terrenos en los principales barrios, que poseían una gran riqueza agrícola, fueron reutilizados como áreas urbanas o de uso militar. El período de estudio que analizaremos es el de los primeros tres años de la presencia de dicho cuerpo castrense en el barrio Borinquen de Aguadilla, de 1939-1941.

Great quality case and keyboard

Super good quality case, I was actually surprised since it’s such a good price. It fit my 10.9 inch perfectly! Keyboard has magnetic attachment to the case which is super handy, and it connected with Bluetooth seamlessly. Keyboard isn’t silent, it’s on the louder side, but not too loud at all and it doesn’t bother me at all because I prefer clickier keyboards. Oh also something that’s really cool is that you can change the colors of the keyboard, love that!
