As a mountain tribe and raiding people, Tyrion Lannister's Rock Crows are a rather primitive troop, but they are characterized by their unexpectedly high level of loyalty. Although more beholden to his wallet than to Tyrion personally, they have always kept their word, even when betrayal would have been a more lucrative option. As mercenaries, these troops are worth the money, especially when used as scouts or on the flank.
Due to their light armament and armor, they are not suitable for front-line use in a protracted battle.
