This is a wonderful example of Enmanuel's command of the paper medium. His texture, compositions, and technical mastery continue to astound. This is recent work, and though his symbology tends toward the abstract, he has hinted that these paintings are representative of feminine, divine beings of a benevolent, and supportive nature. Much of his work employs the palm jungle as a basis for the profound symbology, and iconography of the work. There is great power in these paintings, and the forms, symbols, and figures in the end, compose these lovely abstract, tropical landscapes, that he has become known for. Though one can find points of reference that were inspired by the Latin Masters, the work has become entirely his own. There are several more images from this series available. This work is 17 x 17", and is mixed media on a rather fascinating, very thick, highly textured paper. Very unique work. They frame up beautifully. Enmanuel's work was prominently featured in the 4th season of the Fox Television's show "Prison Break". It was used to decorate the loft space in the show, and his work can be seen in a number of episodes. The origins of his iconography are in the early work of Wifredo Lam. One can see elements that are a reminder of this great artist's work. Though Enmanuel has used these elements as a point of inspiration, he has succeeded in making the work entirely his own. He has focused on Lam's early jungle work as a jumping off point, to create a body of symbols, and a language that depicts a reverence for Mother Nature, and his work has a power and intensity that is rarely found in contemporary art. We at MLA search for contemporary artists that have both conceptual genius, and technical mastery. A combination of qualities rarely found today, but present in abundance in the work of this brilliant artist. Enmanuel was selected to create two huge murals in Cuba. One is a 40 ft. mural at the Railway Station in Santiago, and the other is a 30 ft. mural in the lobby of the Melia Cohiba, which is the top hotel in Eastern Cuba. These are both extremely prestigious projects, and have placed this great artist in an important historical context. We have been in business for 20 years, and enjoy a very good feedback rating. Classic Kids Book
Format: Board book
The Rainbow Fish is one of those children’s books that has been around forever for a reason. The story is sweet and the illustrations are beautiful. It is a great book to read with kids and one that seems to stick around in family libraries for years.

Great illustrations but not sure about the story
Format: Board book
My toddler is obsessed with all things fish, so when she picked out The Rainbow Fish from Amazon search. The illustrations are gorgeous, and my daughter is mesmerized by the sparkly, foil-like scales on the fish. She keeps pointing at them every time we read it, and it’s become a bedtime favorite just for the shiny colors!
One thing I found a little odd is the story: the Rainbow Fish gives away all her beautiful scales to make friends. It’s a sweet message about sharing, but as a parent I admit it made me scratch my head a bit (I wasn’t sure if my toddler really gets why the fish parts with all her sparkles). Still, it’s a friendly tale and we enjoy reading it together.

I LOVED IT!! I started reading it this morning and just finished it! I recommend this book to read. It kept me on edge and you never know what was going to happen. What you thought, never did happen and the end was SHOCKING!!!!!

Great read ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Format: Paperback
The Divorce by Frieda McFadden was everything I’ve come to expect from Frieda — addictive, suspenseful, fast-paced, and filled with shocking twists that completely caught me off guard. In true Frieda fashion, just when I thought I had the story figured out, she turned everything upside down. She has such a talent for making ordinary situations feel unsettling and keeping the reader questioning every character’s motives until the very end.
What I loved most was how quickly this story pulled me in. The tension builds chapter by chapter, and the short, fast-moving chapters make it almost impossible to stop reading. Every reveal added another layer to the story, and I constantly changed my mind about who could be trusted. Frieda always knows how to create characters that are flawed, complicated, and just suspicious enough to keep you hooked.
The emotional side of the story mixed perfectly with the thriller aspect. The themes of betrayal, secrets, marriage, and manipulation made the story feel intense and realistic while still delivering the dramatic twists her readers love. The ending was absolutely wild and left me sitting there replaying everything in my head afterward.
Another fabulous read from Frieda McFadden. She truly has become one of my automatic-read authors because she never fails to entertain me. If you love psychological thrillers with nonstop tension, unreliable characters, and jaw-dropping endings, this one is definitely worth the read. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
