The two snakes are deliberately contrasting in texture. One finely engraved with detailed scales and features, the other left smooth and polished creating a striking look. Both serpents display expressive heads and flowing bodies, giving the ring a wonderfully lifelike presence.

Crafted in silver, the ring still shows gentle traces of its original gold wash, now softly worn away with time. CONDITION: Overall in good condition commensurate with the age of the ring, with just a fine patina of wear all over the ring. There is a historical sizing and repair which can be seen on the inside. As noted above there was once a gold wash over the ring which has mostly worn away leaving a lovely patina.
