Голубі ешелони. Blue Echelons

До книжки Петра Панча (справжнє ім’я — Петро Йосипович Панченко) входять дві повісті: 'Голубі ешелони' (1927) й 'Реванш' (1930) та два оповідання: 'Зелена трясовина' (1923) й 'Мишачі Нори' (1923).

'Голубі ешелони' друкуються в першій редакції 1927-го року. Згодом, у 1947-му, автора нещадно розкритикували, і наступні редакції 'Голубих ешелонів' були цілком змінені ідейно й художньо та, як наслідок, ґрунтовно радянізовані. Власне первісний твір багато в чому автобіографічний і відбиває період, коли офіцер Петро Панченко у 1918 році приєднується до Запорізького корпусу полковника Петра Болбочана, який першим перейшов на бік Директорії, очоливши повстання проти Скоропадського.

Повість 'Реванш' після 1930 року досі не перевидавалася, хоча в 1962 році автор створив нову редакцію, яка зберігається в архіві письменника.

Оповідання Панча — яскраве свідчення ставлення мешканців провінційних містечок Слобожанщини до більшовицького перевороту та реалій тогочасного життя.
