Antique Georgian Garnet & Diamond Ring in 15 Carat Gold; Circa 1830A beautifully timeless Georgian cluster ring, rich in warmth and antique character. At the centre sits a deep, old cushion cut garnet, its wine red tones alive with flickers of ember as it catches the light. At the centre sits a deep, old cushion cut garnet, its wine red tones alive with flickers of ember as it catches the light. The hand cut stone displays the soft, romantic faceting so beloved of the Georgian era, giving it a depth and soul rarely found in modern gems. though the crisp edges has softened with time no charm is lost.

Encircling the garnet is a delicate halo of antique diamonds, each stone individually cut and set by hand. Their gentle sparkle forms a luminous frame, enhancing the richness of the central gem while adding an elegance to the design.

The ring is a classic 15 carat yellow gold mount, whose warm, buttery tone perfectly complements the garnet’s depth of colour. The setting sits low and comfortably on the finger, with the soft patina that only two centuries of careful wear can bestow.

Romantic and elegant this is a quintessential Georgian jewel. A piece that carries the craftsmanship, sentiment, and enduring beauty of the late 18th to early 19th century.

and I found two cases that were no longer good law (even though this is the new edition)
This is a required text for Internet Law classes. It is edited very poorly. There are typos on every other page, and I found two cases that were no longer good law (even though this is the new edition).

Bad book for SOA exam, but oh well.
Format: Paperback
While required by Society of Actuaries as the textbook for Short Term Actuarial Models exam, I could not recommend this textbook for any other purposes. Written by two Canadian actuaries, a lot of terms and explanations used in this textbook cannot be transferred into US P&C insurance. It fails to explains insurance's purpose and products effectively and as an intro book with unnecessary sentences to deliver personal thoughts. It is also a mess in following sections on ratemaking and reserving. I cannot sense a flow from this book that guides readers in an approachable manner. Overall, author compromises the size AND the quality.
