Mike Brodie is a photographic genius. His epic and introductory splash onto the photographic scene, A Period of Juvenile Prosperity is now a bonafide classic.
Brodie chronicled his years long foray as a HOBO and train hopper—offering a glimpse into the world of disenfranchised youth who chose to ride the rails instead of worrying about a college degree and economic security. The work that came from this time was later christened A PERIOD OF JUVENILE PROSPERITY-an ode to the freedom of this truly punk rock lifestyle.
This new take on the classic book by the same name is fitting. A portable and pocket sized rendition of Mikes Book—in functional form for you to use passing time as you dream of the open road.
Each card features a different photograph from Brodie. The back design captures the perpetual motion as seen from a boxcar on the horizon of an America now in the rear view mirror. Misguided youth or truly wealthy misfits? That will be your call after entering the world of Mike Brodie.
The tuck box is complete with a wraparound image selected by Fulton and Brodie complete with the BRODIE name embossed deeply in royal gold foil.
