This upgrade delivers enhanced stability, broader compatibility, and superior high-frame-rate output with native image quality.
🔄 Firmware Update Compatibility
Units of the DC500 Fuser shipped before April 22, 2025, come with the older firmware version. Users of these early batches can freely upgrade to the latest firmware, which resolves most known bugs. If your device is working properly, updating is optional—you can upgrade anytime in the future.

A1: Yep, according to the specs, the DC500 supports 3440x1440 @100Hz over HDMI, which is good enough for most people. Most users are using a 3440x1440 ultrawide myself, locked it to 100Hz, and it works fine—no compatibility issues so far. Still, I’d recommend checking with technical expert just to be safe.
Q2: How much does the DC500 cost now? Has the price gone up?
A2: Yeah, it’s gone up. When I got mine, it was under $500, but now it’s around $500. That said, it’s still a solid choice if you’ve got the budget—especially with the latest firmware update that bumped 4K support up to 160Hz. Pretty future-proof if you ask me.
Q3: Does the DC500 support HDMI 2.1, or is it only DP 1.4?
