Simplex 4098-9756 Compact air duct sensor housing with clear cover to monitor for the presence of smoke** Includes factory installed TrueAlarm photoelectric smoke sensor and features:
- Individual sensor information processed by the host control panel to determine sensor status
- Digital transmission of analog sensor values via MAPNET II® or IDNet™, 2-wire communications
- Programmable sensitivity, consistent accuracy, environmental compensation, status testing, and monitoring of sensor dirt accumulation.
Model Simplex 4098-9756:
- Duct sensor housing with supervised output for multiple remote relays; requires separate 24 VDC includes one relay
- Relay output is under panel control
- At the panel, relay output can be activated manually or in response to a separate alarm or other input
Simplex 4098-9756 General features:
- UL listed to Standard 268A
- Clear cover allows visual inspection
- Test ports provide functional smoke testing accesswith cover in place
- Mounts to rectangular ducts or round ducts; minimumsize is 8” (203 mm) square or 18” (457 mm) diameter
- Magnetic test feature for alarm initiation at housing
- Optional weatherproof enclosure is available separately (refer to data sheet S4098-0032)

I bought this because it works great with my DeWalt battery.
My driveway was overgrown and it locked up a couple of times which I'm assuming is a safety feature. Once I got the driveway cleaned up it works just fine.

My favorite E edger so far.

For a battery powered unit, it was much better than I expected. Powerful enough to do everything in my yard. It beats even some of my previous good gas ones.
I did my whole large front yard with a little more than one battery. Pretty good, actually.

Does a good job, and works pretty well. Took weeks to have it delivered.
Works pretty well, seems to be slightly underpowered. I think it would work better if the soil here were drier. The shroud around the blade would probably not jam up with dirt if the soil here is drier. I was constantly having to remove the battery and using a screwdriver to remove the dirt from the shroud. The shroud would work better if it was larger. There is an adjuster that lowers a metal guide that fits up against the concrete that helps you to keep the blade right up to the edge, make sure to lower that guide into place. The 20 Volt Max batteries I used are hard to insert and remove, but mine are aftermarket batteries, and another tool I own is also hard to insert and remove the same batteries.

Good luck with trying to find blades. To work properly one has to find a blade with a center hole of 7/16” diameter OBLONG so it can engage the motor shaft and not spin freely DO NOT BUY THIS REPEAT DO NOT BUY THIS
