Monk is an American comedy-drama detective mystery series created by Andy Breckman and starring Tony Shalhoub as Adrian Monk, who was a detective for the San Francisco Police Department until his wife, Trudy, was killed by a car bomb in a parking garage. He believes that Trudy's death was part of a larger conspiracy that she had uncovered during her time as a journalist. Trudy's death led Monk to suffer a nervous breakdown. He was then discharged from the force and became a recluse, refusing to leave his house for three and a half years.

He is finally able to leave the house with the help of his nurse/assistant, Sharona Fleming (Bitty Schram). The breakthrough allows him to work as a private detective and a consultant for the homicide unit, despite limitations rooted in his obsessive–compulsive disorder, which has heightened since Trudy's death.

Monk's numerous compulsive habits and several phobias compound his situation, such as his fear of germs. Monk is afraid of 312 things, including milk, ladybugs, harmonicas, heights, asymmetry, enclosed spaces, foods touching on his plate, messes, and risk. The OCD and phobias cause problems for Monk and anyone around him as he investigates cases. These same personal struggles, particularly the OCD, are what aid him in solving cases: his sharp memory, specific mindset, and attention to detail.

Captain Leland Stottlemeyer (Ted Levine) and Lieutenant Randy Disher (Jason Gray-Stanford) call on Monk when they have trouble with investigations. Stottlemeyer is often irritated by Monk's behavior but respects his friend and former colleague's amazing insight and observational abilities, as does Disher. Ever since childhood, Monk's obsessive attention to detail has allowed him to spot tiny discrepancies, find patterns, and make connections that others often miss. Something someone says or does usually triggers Monk to make the connection.

In his spare time, Monk continues to search for information about his wife's death and is plagued with the idea that he may never determine who killed Trudy. He dedicates his life to solving other murders because he feels a moral obligation, even when the outcome disrupts him personally or affects his friends or him negatively, which happens periodically throughout the series. Monk becomes especially intrigued when a woman is killed, or when someone is killed with some type of bomb, because this reminds him of Trudy's murder.

Portable size to freshen up
Scent: 555 Strawberry + Aire, Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
The fragrance is fruity and light. This is a great size to pop in a purse or gym bag. I also found it easily in my bag because of the bright red color, and my bag is ALWAYS a mess lol. The lid stays on with no issues. Since this is a mist , the scent is there and gone pretty quickly. It doesn’t last long. The price is decent for this brand, but it isn’t going to perform much differently than what you get at the “blue gingham” place. I’ve ordered from Lake & Skye before and I generally like their products.

Fruity body mist
Scent: 555 Strawberry + Aire, Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Scent: 555 Strawberry + Aire, Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
This is a great little travel-size body spray to keep in a beach bag, purse, or suitcase. The spray bottle is compact but still feels sturdy, and it’s super convenient for on-the-go use. The scent is pleasant, sweet, and fruity, and not overpowering at all. To me it has a warm fruity vibe that kind of reminds me of summer days as a kid eating popsicles. Nice for everyday wear if you want something light and easy, plan to reapply every 3 hours or so for maximum scent.

Good quality and definitely worth it for energetic dogs.
Color: Orange
The automatic moving and rolling action really grabs my dog’s attention, and the rope adds extra fun for chasing and playing. It helps reduce boredom and keeps my dog mentally stimulated, especially when indoors. The motion activation works well, and it’s a fun and engaging toy overall.

my dogs love it
Color: Orange
This interactive toy has been a lifesaver for keeping my furry friend occupied. It moves around in unpredictable ways, which really keeps him engaged and guessing. The rope attachment is a nice touch, allowing for a bit of tug-of-war when he's feeling energetic. It's durable enough to withstand his enthusiastic play, which is a huge plus. I've noticed he's less anxious and destructive when I'm not home since he has this to play with. Definitely a great purchase for any dog owner looking to provide some mental stimulation.

How many dog toys have you bought that just laid on the floor unused?
Color: Orange
New husky has more energy than an entire pre-school - even being walked more than three miles a day wasn’t sufficient to drain her excess energy. I threw the dice on this - and it’s AWESOME. Comes with an extra rope and an extra side piece. Rechargeable with a USB-C cable. When you turn it on, the blue LEDs flash, the entire device buzzes, bounces, and races back and forth across the floor. After a couple of days of uncertainty, my new husky LOVES this. She chases it around, grabs it by the attached rope and carries it from room to room. After a short bit of activity, the toy goes into ‘sleep’ mode, until either the dog touches it again or a timer has elapsed, and then it fires up and starts buzzing and racing around the floor again. From a full charge, the toy will keep your dog entertained all day. Bright orange color makes it much easier to find when it’s rolled behind the toilet (as it did this afternoon). Sturdy. Highly resistant to chew damage. If this one wears out or breaks, I’ll absolutely get another one.
