20g multi-source plant protein with everyday recovery help

RYSE Loaded Plant Protein Natural Series is all about tasting good and being easy to use for daily protein, not some super-engineered muscle builder with fancy leucine boosts or new performance add-ins. At its heart, it's 20g of plant protein per 30.4g scoop from pea protein, chickpea protein isolates, and barley rice protein, with MCTs and prebiotic fiber based on what we've seen on labels. Using multiple sources is key because single-plant proteins can be gritty, unbalanced in aminos (those are the building blocks of protein), or tough on digestion. Mixing legume and grain proteins helps with smoother texture and better amino coverage than just pea isolate.

For micronutrients, there's 110mg of calcium. That's not enough to cover your full daily needs—adults aim for 1,000-1,200mg for overall health—but it's a nice bonus in a dairy-free shake. Calcium isn't just for bones; it helps with muscle contractions, nerve signals, and blood clotting inside cells. Practically, this adds a little to your day, and it pairs well with the vitamin D in here, even though the exact vitamin D dose isn't listed. Vitamin D helps your body use calcium better, making this combo smart for bone and muscle support.

Iron comes in at 4.7mg, which is solid for a plant protein. Iron builds hemoglobin and myoglobin, the proteins that carry oxygen in blood and store it in muscles. 4.7mg isn't a fix for low iron, but it's a good daily boost in a shake, and it can matt

Key Highlights

  • 20g plant protein per scoop — that's a real amount to help with your daily protein needs, not just a weak add-on. For most people, it's a solid post-workout or snack option that fills in where your meals fall short for recovery.
  • Mix of pea, chickpea, and barley rice protein — way better than sticking to one source. Legume and grain proteins team up for nicer texture and better amino acid balance, so it drinks easier and feels more complete than basic pea stuff.
  • Natural Series vibe — made for folks wanting a clean, easy daily protein. Consistency is what gets results, and shakes that feel good to use every day beat out fancy ones that gather dust.
  • 4.7mg iron per scoop — a decent add in plant protein. Iron helps with oxygen in your blood and muscles via hemoglobin and myoglobin, super useful if you're plant-based and need to watch iron levels.
  • 110mg calcium — not a full dose, but helpful in a dairy-free powder. Calcium builds bones and signals for muscle moves and nerves, so even this amount adds real value to your shake.
  • Vitamin D added — key because calcium needs buddies to work best. The exact amount isn't listed, but vitamin D boosts calcium use and supports bones.
  • 60mg potassium — a small but useful touch in an everyday product. Potassium aids nerve and muscle function, turning this into more than just flavored protein.
  • Prebiotic fiber from what we've seen on labels — great if you want more than bare protein. These fibers feed good gut bacteria and make the shake feel fuller, like a proper snack.

Who Is This For?

  • Plant-based trainers hitting protein goals without heavy soy. The 20g blend of pea, chickpea, and barley rice feels more balanced in texture and aminos than single sources, making it easier to stick with.
  • Meat-eaters who don't do whey well but need a post-workout fix. Dairy-free with real protein, some iron and calcium, no stims — fits right in after sessions or snacks.
  • Busy folks skipping meals who need quick protein during the day. One scoop gives 20g plant protein that's easy to mix, pack, and use without being a full meal.
  • Casual athletes training 3-5 days needing basic recovery, not crazy complexity. This keeps it simple for nutrition, not trying to be everything at once.
  • Veggies or flexitarians watching minerals low in low-meat eating. 4.7mg iron plus calcium and vitamin D make it more than just protein.
  • People ditching super-sweet fake flavors for something cleaner daily. Natural Series with plant proteins and fiber fits better than processed dessert shakes.

How to Use

Mix 1 scoop in 8-12 ounces cold water with a shaker, tweak liquid for thin or creamy. For thicker, blend with plant milk and ice; helps plant proteins go down better. Best after workouts or when meals are short on protein. Labels hint at prebiotic fiber, so if digestion is touchy, skip before intense training and go post or snack time. No half-scoop for tolerance since no stims, but it's fine for topping meals. Stacks great with creatine for energy reload while this handles protein. Good with greens or omega-3 for a full stack. Use daily, no cycles. Keep sealed, cool, dry, shake tub if it settles.

What to Expect

First 0-10 minutes: you taste it, feel the texture, and see if it's heavy or easy on the gut — that's make-or-break for plant proteins. 10-30 minutes: no buzz, just fullness kicking in from protein and fiber. Next 1-3 hours: you feel satisfied, got 20g protein down, and you're set to hit goals later. Days 1-7: it cuts down low-protein days. Weeks 2-4: steady use means better protein habits, reliable recovery, and smoother days. It's not a quick hit; it's about building consistency, and that's the win.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much protein does RYSE Loaded Plant Protein Natural Series provide per serving?

Each approximately 30.4g scoop provides 20g of plant protein. That is a meaningful single serving for post-workout recovery or for bridging the gap between lower-protein meals.

What protein sources are used in this formula?

Retailer-sourced label context indicates the protein comes from a blend of pea protein, chickpea protein isolates, and barley rice protein. That multi-source approach is typically used to improve texture and broaden amino acid coverage compared with a single-source pea protein.

Is this a fully transparent plant protein formula?

Partially. The total protein amount is disclosed at 20g, and key minerals like calcium, iron, and potassium are listed, but the individual amounts of each protein source, MCTs, and prebiotic fiber are not broken out in the available data.

Does this product contain caffeine or stimulants?

No stimulants are indicated. This is a stim-free protein powder, which means you can use it post-workout, in the morning, or later in the day without worrying about caffeine overlap or sleep disruption.

Is the iron content significant in this product?

Yes, especially for the category. At 4.7mg iron per serving, this is not a therapeutic iron supplement, but it is a meaningful nutritional contribution in a plant protein and can be relevant for users following lower-meat or plant-based diets.

Can I use RYSE Loaded Plant Protein Natural Series before a workout?

You can, but it is usually better post-workout or between meals. Because retailer-sourced context suggests the formula contains prebiotic fiber, some users may find it sits heavier than ideal if taken immediately before intense training.

How does this compare to whey protein?

Whey usually has a naturally stronger leucine profile and often stimulates muscle protein synthesis more efficiently gram for gram. This formula’s advantage is that it is plant-based, dairy-free, and built from multiple plant sources to improve usability and daily adherence.

Is this product good for building muscle?

It supports muscle gain indirectly by helping you hit daily protein intake more consistently. The main limitation versus elite plant formulas is that the amino acid profile and leucine content are not disclosed, so it is best viewed as a solid daily protein rather than a maximally optimized muscle-protein-synthesis formula.

Does the formula support bone health at all?

To a degree, yes. It includes calcium and vitamin D, which are a well-established nutrient pairing for skeletal health, although the calcium amount per serving is supportive rather than a full daily intake solution.

What should I stack with this product?

Creatine monohydrate is the most logical performance stack because creatine supports phosphocreatine regeneration while this formula covers protein intake. A greens product or omega-3 can also complement it well if you are building a simple daily wellness stack around training recovery.

What a ride.
Format: Paperback
How these two come together with the rest of the iconic characters is just so fun. Add in a Screaming Citadel and you're in for one hell of a ride. If you love Star Wars, pick it up. It could read as a stand-alone if needed. Part of the Doctor Aphra comics.

Absolutely top-knotch
Format: Kindle
9.5/10 This is the pinnacle of Star Wars comic books. A great way to tie in their Indiana Jones character in Aphra and the mainline series to tell an amazing story. Only complaint is a couple of the issues artwork I was not a fan of. I like the more realistic look. Just make sure you read Aphra book 1 and the previous SW books to understand it better. Aphra book 1 being more important

Star Wars embraces fantasy
Format: Paperback
This is Star Wars at its' strangest, and that's a very good thing. Luke and co. fighting through what could easily be Dracula's castle is a truly unique experience. I don't wish to say more for fear of spoilers. As a note though you will get more out of this if you've been following the Star Wars and Dr. Aphra comics. However you can get by without that knowledge as well.

Gothic Star Wars
Format: Paperback
This trade paperback collects all the issues for the Screaming Citadel story spread over several titles, including the main stay Star Wars series and the Dr Aphra book. As one might expect from a story spread over different titles with different artists and writers, the presentation varies. The art is all over the place. In the Marco Checchetto-drawn initial issue, everyone’s favorite amoral artifact hunter, Dr Aphra, is a striking space vixen. But in the following issues she’s hardly recognizable as the same character--mousier, if still menacing, in her trademark Russian tanker’s hat. To a lesser degree, the same is true for the other characters, including the main SW group. It’s understandable, but a bit disconcerting. The story centers on Dr Aphra, who, in need of a Jedi for one of her typically nefarious purposes, recruits Luke into her scheme. Unfortunately for Aphra, she’s up against a more ruthless foe in the harlequin-looking vampire-like Queen of the Screaming Citadel. Before long, the rest of the group has to show up to rescue them. It’s a gothic story, set in scary castle—not the usual Star Wars fare. There are some good points. Dr Aphra’s almost sociopathic outlook is always good for a few choice lines, the “murderous machines” Bee Tee and Triple Zero are on hand for their own gruesome commentary and some of the Queens hench-people, while not given much to do, are interestingly designed. But overall, the horror movies plotline didn’t seem much like Star Wars to me. Recommended for those who enjoy that type of story, or completists.

Luke and Doctor Aphra team up!
Format: Paperback
This is the second crossover event in the Marvel Star Wars comics. It brings the ongoing Doctor Aphra and Star Wars series together. I liked the pairing of Luke with Aphra. They play well off of each other with Luke's naive goodness and Aphra's experienced gray morality. I liked when she called him a wannabe padawan. There are some well designed characters in this comic. The residents of the Screaming Citadel have a goth bdsm vibe. Luke even gets to dress up. I liked seeing him in something different. I want to know more about Sana and Aphra's past!!! Please, Marvel, make a queer love story prequel!!! The murder droids are wonderful. Having them on the same side as the "good guys" for at least the time being led to some funny situations. The last panel intrigued me. I give this graphic novel a 4/5. I am always here for more Doctor Aphra!
