Fitting and handling
Before fitting, store the lining set flat or stacked horizontally in the room where it will be used for at least 48 hours, allowing the timber to acclimatise to the indoor humidity and reduce the risk of movement after installation. The loose door stop is supplied separately so you can fix it accurately once the door is hung, giving you a precise rebate and avoiding any binding. Once fitted, apply a primer coat to all faces and edges, including any cut ends, to protect the timber and ensure a consistent finish.
