Characteristics: These mushrooms are medium to large in size, featuring a pale to light brown cap with a smooth surface.
Temperature Range: Italian oysters thrive in temperatures between 10-24°C, with the best conditions around 18-22°C.
Cooking: Italian oyster mushrooms are incredibly versatile, suitable for sautéing, roasting, or adding to risottos and pasta dishes. Their firm texture holds up well in cooking, making them a fantastic addition to stews and casseroles, where they contribute a hearty, satisfying element.
