Ceramic Twisted Yarn (Rope)Manufactured from multiple strands of refractory ceramic yarns twisted together to create a yarn rope which is highly resilient and has excellent space filling properties. Refractory ceramic staple fibre yarns consists of 80% ceramic fibre and 20% organic fibre. The ceramic fibre itself is rated to 1260C in optimum conditions, but the organic content will burn off at 200C and so it should be noted that ceramic rope might 'flash flame' on first

- The ceramic fibre itself is rated to 1260°C in optimum conditions, but the organic content will burn off at 200°C and so it should be noted that ceramic rope might 'flash flame' on first application. Furthermore, given 20% is driven off, the product is prone to considerable shrinking.
- These yarns are reinforced either with steel wires (1000°C) or glass filaments (550°C) in order to ensure that mechanical strength is maintained.
- These yarns / ropes are not braided (held together) and would, if cut, unravel. It is this characteristic that makes the ropes versatile in that they can be twisted by hand more or less tightly to suit the void.

Happy with the price and quality!

I bought this set with low expectations to replace my OEM grill which was falling apart and getting loose. I thought, not much to lose. They actually turned out to fit and look great. Just one tip-- when installing, be sure that you are correctly positioning the tension clips to be in contact with the end of the hood notch. There are a lot of Youtube guides you can find online to help you with it. Otherwise, they will just be totally loose and not fit correctly.

The grill is plastic of course but for the price it makes the car look good. I had a cracked grill and it looked so ugly. These popped right in easy install and makes the car look good again I am happy.
